Week 6 Preview from England

Each and every week we are being treated to great games, and we are loving it!!! There are a few games this week that catch our eye and some that bring a tear to them, let’s put our hands together and pray for goals, goals and more goals!!

Ding ding ding!!! Yet another installment of Jose vs Arsen

Ding ding ding!!! Yet another installment of Jose vs Arsene

Chelsea Vs Arsenal: Our view is: We are hopeful of seeing the champagne these to can produce. We are talking about Mourinho Vs Wenger #haha. In all seriousness the writing is almost on the wall for Chelsea and another loss will almost rule them out of the title race only 6 weeks into the season (the EPL is just that crazy), also without Willian and Pedro too, this could be tough. Just down the road at Arsenal, the gunners are coming off a poor champions league showing in Croatia against Dinamo Zargreb, and they will be keen to get some momentum going this season with the big scalp of the blues. We say 2-2 draw in a sometimes entertaining draw.

Aston Villa Vs West Bromwich Albion: Our view is: what looks like a bit of a dull affair, might just be the ugly girl at the disco. Doesn’t look like much from far, but you’d have a crack once you get up close. Villa have been entertaining to say the least and Tony Pullis’s West Brom have enough good players in their squad to create some trouble for the Villa defense. It might not be a BPL classic but we should get our monies worth. Berihino (aka lil b) to score and be welcomed back by Brom fans and Scott Sinclair to get back on the score sheet. Villa 3-2 in a good game for the punters.

Bournemouth Vs Sunderland: Our view is: The first of 2 possible shite games this round. The BOTN crew like the Cherry’s and the style they play, but we don’t feel it will be enough to keep the winning and from the dreaded drop. Sunderland have been ass this year but they seem to have got their improvement jacket on. The haven’t been awful the last 2 weeks but still are yet to get a win. 2 teams below par at the moment and we see a 1-1 draw. (if Sunderland do happen to win, fathers lock up your daughters. Adam Johnson will be up and about)

Newcastle Vs Watford: Our view is: The second of the 2 shite matches this round. Two teams really struggling for points this season so far, the Geordies and the Bees will want to get at least point out of this one. With only 8 points between them this season this might be an early relegation battle preview. We say 1-1 draw

Stoke Vs Leicester City: Our view is: Maaahhhhrrreezzzzzz!!!! This fella has been the leagues best player, by a mile so far and we hope as neutrals he turns it on again. Leicester have been simply awesome, whereas Stoke City have been underwhelming to say the least. After have a few games to get his feet, we hope we start to see the goods from Xherdin Shaqiri. He is going to be integral to Stokes climb back up the table this season. 1 team desperate to get back on track vs 1 team taking the league by storm, and In what we think will be a delightful match to watch at 1am on Saturday night, we say Leicester 2-1 to get the chocolates.

Swansea City Vs Everton: Our view is: Young gun manager Vs Younger gun manager. 2 managers who have bright futures in the league square off against each other in what we see as a bloody good game. Both teams on 8 points and both teams already claiming big scalps, we see a quality display here. Lookout for Gomis and co causing havoc in the Everton defense and new hat trick master Stevie Naismith floating in and around the danger areas. We say 2-2 in an epic battle.

Manchester City Vs West Ham United: Our view is: Not as clear cut as some might say. West Ham are coming off 2 clean sheets and 2 big wins. Their confidence is up and the are running on top of the ground. City have played and lost a mid week games against Juve and only fell in against Palace, last start in the league. Don’t get us wrong City should win at home, but the Hammers will give them plenty of grief if they let Dimmy payet get plenty of the ball. No Sergio Aguero again this wee (so we hear), so expect Yaya and Silva to get in dangerous areas. A great watch for the Neutrals sees City 2-1 get the win.

Tottenham Hotspur Vs Crystal Palace: Our view is: This game has a million possibilities writing all over it. Spurs were just able to get the 3 points against Sunderland and Palace are this years Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The put in a brilliant 89 mins against city but fell short and had a similar outcome against Arsenal. Spurs aren’t quite the caliber of those 2, so maybe we will see Palace hitting he winners circle again. We say Palace 2-1 winners.

Liverpool Vs Norwich: Our view is: Can Liverpool get their season back on track against the Canaries? Liverpool have a wonderful record against Norwich, but a stop and start season thus far has fans worried and calling for answers from Brendan Rodgers. Nowich on the other hand are coming off a 3-1 slapping of Bournemouth and will go to Anfield hoping to “do a West Ham” and take something from the Scousers. Coutinho returns to the side for Liverpool and so does the magic? We see Liverpool winning 2-1 (Benteke to score).

Southampton Vs Manchester United: Our view is: What happened to the Southampton of last season? Has the selling of 28 players (22 to Liverpool) finally caught up to Koeman and Saints? We hope not, because they are delightful to watch in full flight and we hope we see that free flowing game back again soon. United are coming off a 2-1 loss to PSV in the champions league and are also coming to grips with life minus Luke Shaw (he snapped his leg in a sickening clash in Holland against PSV and will miss a lot of football). United should get Wayne Rooney back and this should be enough to see off the saints. We say united 2-1 winners here.

Multi of the week:

Swansea v Everton (draw) + Man city + Leicester + Aston Villa = $26.27
