Welcome to the 8th installment of the preview from England. We are yet again treated to an awesome array of matches in the ever intriguing EPL. This week we have Derby’s, bitter rivals face off and we also see newly promoted teams battle it out…. Strap on (we mean strap in) and get ready to get stuck in!!
Crystal Palace Vs West Bromwich Albion: Our view is: An awful game for the early kick off in Aus this week. 2 teams who have been ok so far this season, without scaling any dizzy heights. Palace will want more from their gun players (Cabaye and Bolasie) while WB will be encouraged by the scoring form of Little B (Berahino), they still aren’t getting the chocolates. We see a 2-1 win to Palace only because having an eagle fly around before the game is badass!!
Bournemouth AFC Vs Watford: Our view is: Another battle from the new boys, 2 of the 3 promoted teams give it a whirl here. Bournemouth will be filthy that their best player Callum Wilson will miss the remainder of the season, due to a knee injury. This will put a major strain on the outfit but we are unsure if Watford are the team to expose it. They have been ok since coming up, but will need to do a bloody lot more to stay up!!! We see a 1-1 Draw here.
Aston Villa Vs Stoke City: Our view is: A much improved Aston Villa were very unlucky against Liverpool last outing. Gestede will one day be something special, the young Frenchman is a gun for hire!!! Stoke might be feeling a little underwhelmed with Shaqiri’s for so far (he might be the new Mesut Ozil) The potters will want to see a lot more from him and will gladly welcome back Charlie Adam and Ibrahim Affellay from suspension. We see a 2-2 Draw here.
Manchester City Vs Newcastle United: Our view is: City were a cats ass last week against Spurs and they will be bloody keen to make amends against the rubbish team from the Toon, Newcastle. Newcastle are coming of their best result of the season, yep a draw is their best result. We see City doing unspeakable things to Newcastle and we hope this triggers a chain reaction of events, McLaren gets sacked and they bring back club legend Joe Kinnear. The best press conference manager in the history of the world!! City 5-0!! (for the punters de Bruyne to score)
Norwich Vs Leicester City: Our view is: The foxes had a nice kick up the ass (wake up call) last week against Arsenal. We believe this will do them the world of good. Ridding high in the league and they got a little cocky and Arsenal fisted them. Norwich have show bits and pieces of brilliance this season, but it has to change from bits and pieces to more often. The EPL is a dog eat dog league and sometimes the little dogs get eaten first, win or perish that should be the mindset for the canaries!! We see a good game here but the foxes too strong 3-1 winners (for the punters Jamie Vardy to score)
Sunderland AFC Vs West Ham United: Our view is: Rubbish, ass, craptastic and just plain no good!!! Sunderland’s description (thanks Wikipedia). Again football gods we plead with you to banish big Dick Addvocaat!! How many times do we have to ask!!! On the other side, West Ham continue to impress, but this is the kind of banana skin that derails them every year!!! So we hope to see this game have some importance to somebody!!! If Sunderland drop this one and Big Dick doesn’t get the ass, I’ll eat my own hat!! West Ham 3-0 winners!!
Chelsea Vs Southampton: Our view is: Can the Blues get the train back on the track? They have been very un Chelsea like this season and murmurs are that Jose has lost some of the dressing room (John Terry to name 1). Hazard has been a shadow of the player that was brilliant last season, Fabregas has been influential and Ivanovic has stunk it up hard!!! Southampton have had their own problems this season, as we’ve mentioned previously they have lost a crazy amount of quality in the past 2yrs, and maybe that’s beginning to catch up. We see a tough game for both sides but we see a 2-1 win to Chelsea
Everton Vs Liverpool: Our view is: This is the 225th Merseyside Derby and as per usual there is more than balls on the line. Brendan Rodgers has lot of Liverpool fans this season, with the teams lack of goals and mediocre results. The fans want Klopp and Liverpool seem to leaning in that direction too!!! Brendan if you want to get the fans back on side, BEAT EVERTON!!! it’s that simple!!! Everton on the other hand a building towards some very form, coming for 2 goals down to beat West Brom in mid week. Lukaku is a star and is starting to hit that form again and the crew at the BOTN love Ross Barkley (future England Captain). This will be a classic as per usual and we see a 2-2 Draw here!!
Stay tuned for our previews of: Arsenal Vs Manchester United and Swansea Vs Tottenham.
